By installing or using Eden Gallery, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

## Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Eden Gallery on devices you own or control, for as long as you comply with these terms.
Your use of Eden Gallery is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service and any other applicable terms governing the distribution of the app.
You may not:
- Redistribute or resell the app
- Present the app as your own
- Modify or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or bypass paid feature restrictions
## Your Files Are Yours
Eden Gallery displays and manages content that is already on your device or on storage services that you choose to connect.
We claim no ownership of your files and do not receive your files through Eden-operated servers.
You are responsible for:
- Having the right to access, view, copy, move, store, or otherwise manage the content you use with Eden Gallery
- Complying with the terms applicable to any storage service you connect
- Maintaining appropriate backups of important or irreplaceable content
## Storage Access
Eden Gallery may require Android's All files access permission to provide its core file-management and storage-browsing functionality.
This permission allows Eden Gallery to browse and manage supported files and folders across locations such as internal storage, SD cards, and attached USB storage.
You may decline or revoke this permission. Some parts of the app will not function without the required storage access.
How Eden Gallery uses storage access is described in the Privacy Policy.
## Eden Pro
Eden Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks additional features. It is not a subscription and does not automatically renew.
- Purchases are processed by Google Play.
- Google's applicable purchase and refund policies apply to purchases made through Google Play.
- Eden does not process your payment directly.
- The Pro entitlement is associated with the Google account used to make the purchase and can be restored on supported devices signed in to that account.
- The free tier will remain functional.
- We will not move an existing free feature behind Pro.
- Features included in Pro may change as Eden Gallery develops.
- Features you have already paid for will remain unlocked for your Pro entitlement, subject to the continued availability of the app and applicable platform requirements.
## Private Vaults
Eden Gallery provides private vaults for storing selected files and media in an encrypted vault.
When creating a vault, you choose its security and performance mode. Different modes provide different security, encryption, and performance characteristics. The relevant consequences of the selected mode are presented when the vault is created.
Vaults can be moved between supported storage locations and are not necessarily tied to the Eden Gallery installation.
Depending on the vault mode you select, the vault may survive removal and reinstallation of Eden Gallery, or it may be configured to be removed when the app is uninstalled.
A vault password cannot be recovered by Eden. There is no key escrow, backdoor, or password-reset mechanism that allows Eden to recover the contents of a vault.
If you lose the password or otherwise lose access to a vault, its contents may be permanently unrecoverable.
You are responsible for keeping a secure record of any vault passwords and for maintaining separate copies of anything that cannot be replaced.
## Online Storage Services
Eden Gallery can connect to storage and server services operated by third parties.
You are responsible for:
- The credentials you enter
- Having permission to access the services you connect
- Complying with the terms and policies of those services
- Any fees, storage charges, bandwidth charges, or other costs imposed by those services
These services are operated by third parties. Eden does not control them and does not guarantee their availability, reliability, security, data handling, pricing, or continued operation.
Where Eden Gallery connects directly to a server or service you specify, the connection is made from your device to that service. Eden does not operate a proxy through which that traffic is intentionally routed or stored.
## No Warranty
Eden Gallery is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not warrant that Eden Gallery will:
- Be uninterrupted or error-free
- Work with every device
- Work correctly with every version or modification of Android
- Be compatible with every Android manufacturer or Android skin
- Support every storage device, file system, server, or third-party service
You remain responsible for maintaining backups of important data.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or protections that you have under applicable consumer protection law or other mandatory law that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
## Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Eden is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from your use of Eden Gallery, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of data.
Eden is not a backup service. You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of photographs, videos, documents, and other important data.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
## Changes
We may update these terms as Eden Gallery develops.
When appropriate, material changes will be noted in the release notes, and the "Last updated" date on this page will be changed.
Your continued use of Eden Gallery after the updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
